Turn on the app If you feel unsafe hold your finger on the screen. Once arrived to a safe location, enter your code. If your finger leaves the screen without entering the code law enforcement is notified and your location is tracked through your phone.

reblogging bc this seems really useful

Things I will not judge you for:
•Sexuality
•Religion
•Race
•Clothing choices

Things I will judge you for:
•Not signalling while driving
•How you treat wait staff
•Which way you think the toilet roll goes

The last one!
I have no idea why, but it annoys me so damn much.

friendly reminder that when oliver wood addressed the gryffindor quidditch team as ‘men’, angelina johnson called him out on his sexist and misogynistic bullshit by reminding him there were women on the team too, and he listened to her without question ✿◕‿◕✿

Red Jumpsuit Apparatus have publicly apologised to me and agreed to pay my invoice.
This is a huge win for not only me, but photographers around the world.

Some stats from the last 30 hours:
The article I posted about red jumpsuit stealing my images has been viewed close to 30,000 times, from 107 different countries. I received close to 150 emails of support in my battle (and 2 emails disagreeing with me, one very violently). I got 35 more followers on my photography facebook and 30 more followers on twitter.
On top of all this, I got my invoice paid. This battle was worth my effort.

So my friend took on a band for using one of his images without appropriate credit and won, partly because of fairly significant social media attention. Internet, you do alright at bringing people together to fight for a thing. The lesson here? Give credit where credit is due and don’t be a dick when dealing with copyright and intellectual property of fellow artists!
